I am a new second grade teacher at Birnamwood Elementary. I am very eager to learn how to improve my teaching and my students' learning using the awesome tools we are learning and integrating higher order thinking skills.
Overview of content/topic level of unit plan:
Dinosaurs Rock Grade 2
Students will:
*compare and contrast meat and plant eating dinosaurs
*create a descriptive paragraph describing a “new” dinosaur based on adaptations
discussed and send to epals to have them draw.
*Research extinction theories on dinosaurs and compare them.
*Create a poster (electronic or traditional) identifying various adaptations of dinosaurs that are similar to
modern animals.
*Using various materials create a model that matches a dinosaur picture.
*Debate and decide which extinction theory seems most logical.
I am concerned that my unit doesn't have a real "second grade" world connection. I also am concerned about going beyond second grade level as I am still new to this grade leve.
How do I add an Image or File to My Page?
Select Edit tab then Click the File icon.
Use the "Upload Files" button or "External Image" tab to select the image or file you wish to put on your page.
Put the cursor at the position on the page where you wish to put the image or file.
